Are shishito peppers spicy?

Many people don’t want to try shishito peppers for fear of them being too spicy. Don’t worry, this shishito pepper recipe is very mild, although you may occasionally come across a spicier one. But even if you do, it won’t be very hot.

We have been to Spain a few times, and for us the air fried shishito peppers were what caught our attention the most when compared to the variety of tapas in Barcelona. It is perfect with a good beer!
